This AA Kenyan coffee comes from the Ibutiti Estate in the Kiria-ini sublocation of Gatanga, Murang’a County, overseen by Mercy Wambui Gatuhi.
Cultivated at 1,750 to 1,800 meters on deep red volcanic soils, this washed SL34 coffee undergoes meticulous processing, including hand-picking, wet milling, overnight fermentation, and sun-drying on raised beds.
The result is a vibrant and juicy cup with notes of blackberry, rhubarb, and black currant, showcasing the estate's dedication to quality and tradition since its founding in 1978.
